MULTIDIMENSIONAL APPROACH TO GLOBAL FOOD SECURITY MANAGEMENT IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Food is an essential commodity for the survival of over 7 Billion world’s population. As a result, effective management to address the food preferences and dietary needs of all continued to be a top priority of every stakeholder in the world’s food ecosystem. However, a number of factors, including the current Covid-19 pandemic have challenged the food security of over 820 million people globally, making them face extreme hunger and malnutrition. A multidimensional approach into; empirical and theoretical inquiry and understanding of global food security management is required at this time more than ever as it is a catalyst for action and drive progress towards a more sustainable food secured state.

This 3rd AccexGate Global International Conference organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, Veritas University, Abuja, Nigeria is to bring together stakeholders all over the world for a multidimensional empirical discourse towards effective global food security management.

Our first Conference titled “Virtual International Conference on Economic Disruption and Global Impact of COVID-19 on Society (VICED-GI-COVID-19)” had Keynote speakers such as Professor Maduike Ezeibe of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State. Guest Speakers such as Professor, Richard Mayungbe, Professor of Finance and Forensics, Copper State University, Zambia and Emeritus Professor Bedford Fubara were invited.
